When people are unable to put Linux on a PC, is the day the PC architecture becomes a closed architecture, like the Macs.

Mac OS X is a version of linux, I use Mac OS X mainly but I also use ubuntu and Windows 7

windows is using winsock to connect to the inet. but winsock is copied from unix

@gtgidemgreen Ugh…Just because it is on a UNIX platform does not make the OS Linux…There are so many things exponentially wrong with your statement, it makes me want to hang myself from a high rafter…Evidentially you have never examined the multitude of differentials between OSX and ANY Linux OS, such as GUI and how it truncates and manipulates data sets. One has a much more solidified architecture for starters (OSX) as is designed to work on Apple certified hardware only!

i kinda find it stupit how people always tell linux is better then pc in all this thinks and pc is better then linux all thos thinks :Þ i dont get it xD cant computer companys like Linux and PC and mac be in peace with each other over ho has better XD

Linux runs on PCs, so I don’t think “Linux vs PC” is the correct terminology. lol

I use both Ubuntu/Kubuntu and Windows Vista. And i think they’re both great! I’ve never used a Mac before, but I use a Mac style Dock Bar in both Ubuntu and Vista, so I’m sure Macintosh would be great if they let you use it on the average PC dammit! DX

i like linux a lot. The whole concept just makes sense.
