  5. XMacWizardX says:

lol yea, All KDE is changing the “Look” and positions of how the GUI is. Nothing changes internally ( exception of some programs that are replaced, like the browser, e-mail program, )

  7. jeroeniskoning says:

    Ok thank you bill.
Ill just go and give it a try =D.

  8. billgoldbergmania says:

    It’s pretty stable.

But I’ve had a few crashes.

I moved away from it for that reason.

I’m now on Crunchbang Linux. A Ubuntu based, Openbox distro.

    Fast and extremely stable.

  9. billgoldbergmania says:

The programs are mostly the same.

    It’s not that different.

It’s an RPM based distro and Ubuntu is a DEB based distro.

So mostly the packaging system is different.

    There are some other differences.

    But it’s all Linux.

If you know what you are doing on Ubuntu, you’ll do just fine on Fedora.

  10. jeroeniskoning says:

Whats the exact difference between kubuntu and F11 KDE? I cant really see many differences.
    Different repositories?
    Different programms?
    All of this above?

    Nice vid, BTW =D
    I love Linux

  11. DigiTan000 says:

How stable is the KDE version anyway?

  12. brinzvan says:

You need to download KDE version no Fedora 11
I did same mistake first time ;)

  13. clarkkov says:

So, could you point me to that package/repository? There is only 32 bit package on Adobes site, and no one knows how to install it in 64-bit. You have to press loads of code and do all kinds of procedures to install flash plugin in 64-bit Linux OS. I know that, Is there a package, a normal way, I just want to browse the internet, not press code for a new OS.

  14. szymongruszczynski says:

    thats bullshit.
installing 64 bit flashplugin on 64 system is easy (on both: *buntu and debian). on F11, there is need to install only one additional repository, than install it via yum (or whatever you like)

  15. wesleyhocker says:

  16. billgoldbergmania says:

    It’s a Toshiba Sattelite L300-1DN.

A real solid machine, unlike others I had (I’m looking at you HP and ASUS).

  17. wesleyhocker says:

    what model your toshiba Dude?

  18. clarkkov says:

Hey, is this 64 or 32-bit? Is it possible to install Adobe Flash plug-in in 64-bit?
    In 64 – bit Ubuntu/Kubuntu it’s a pain!

  19. murillomanfre says:

    perfect video and music =).

  20. murillomanfre says:

    hey! perfect video and music!

  21. billgoldbergmania says:

I think the music is great, otherwise I wouldn’t have used it :p

    But to each his own.

  22. cobrafazea says:
