You have this set up beautifully. I just got a new laptop (with vista..ugh) and am re-partitioning it tonight. Im installing Ubuntu ulitimate, OpenSuse, and Im leaving the other 1/3 of my extended patition for Fedora 10 (which drops in 2 days!!!!!!!) They will all share a 1g linux swap and the remainder for my other files to be used by all 3 distros
For Fedora users: The packages for the video drivers for ATI and Nvidia graphics cards are at the livna repository.
im A noob for fedora core. i jsut intalled in on my desktop.and i dont know what to do…i want to have this nice theme and the dock and the arrow stuff…pls help…noone wants to show me how:( and not much info on the net…just show offs:(
To answer many questions: Use the dang nvidia drivers for your card from their website. The dock appears to be AWN, although it could be Kiba-dock. Compiz Fusion is a lag bag, do not expect wonderful performance on any form of a lower end computer.
hello..i have fedora 9 i686 and i cant enable desktop effects..my graphics card is nvidia g-force..do u know how i make it enable??thnx
Well it depends.
X86_64 is 64-bit Fedora.
and i use Ubuntu and it has Full wacom drivers support
and they all contain ( about ) the same amount of drivers.

hello i’am really confused about going with a distro i would like to go with fedora because of XSI but wich download should i chose X86

Compiz-fusion is a lot sluggish or the 0.5fps video was intentional

fedora s improving version by version..am using fedora 9 in my lap..but i hav xp too..wonderful gui and desktop effects.some softies luk like they copy it frm the MS.even tho its gud,being free..[:)]

You see; Linux doesn’t really “suck” in terms of anything. It’s just a desent software stuck in between a war of the Macs and PCs. But I use XP, though. I still would use it though, if I just wanted a nice little descent software. Maybe I’d use it on my laptop.
