yes they are. i myself am using an IBM laptop at this minuite they still make them they just don’t sell them under the name “IBM” they sell them under the name of “lenovo”
How ironic. Apple thought that IBM was big brother 22 years ago and didn’t see that Microsoft was the real big brother in waiting. Yet now its IBM that is the one that is using Linux to take on Big Brother Microsoft.
easy fix in linux, change the name from “application.exe” to “application.wine” and you can just double click it like you do in windows. Wish some one told me that when I started linux, hated going into the terminal and typin “cd wine /path/to/file/”
Lenovo is a chinese company. They bought IBMs PC-biz in 2005.
IBM only produces server hardware nowadays.
All software, apart from Video Games, should be Free.

Goodbye Microsoft.
I LOVE IBM NOW, FOR THE HELP THEY WILL GIVE FOR LINUX NOW! maybe it will be easier to get drivers now once it gets more recognition!
Is that Samuel Jackson? I’ve had it with these mother fucking viruses on this mother fucking computer.

you mean the viruses?
why would you wanna run them?
Why you need to run something from Windows:):)
Technically it can run them using WINE as a compatibility layer. It just can’t use most of them to the extent Windows can.
it runs some of them:
just install wine
dammm this comerical is off the HOOK!!
what for?
linux ftw
linux is great, I just wished that it runs all .exe files
Because Linux compared with some the concurrence is (for now) a “kid” and is growing each day it passes…
Yes… the child is LINUX… when he is grown enough he will CRASH the competition! (remember that he is earning more and more adepts…
)
Thats what i understood about this spot!
Windows owns the desktop market, Linux owns the server market. The internet runs on Unix and Linux.
