In Google, how do you get the bold/main listing with the sub pages under it?

I don’t know what to call it, so I don’t even know where to look up the answer. Hoping someone here could help. In Google when you type in a big company [for example] like ‘Apple’ or ‘CentOS’ and thousands of other big companies, organizations or I guess just bigger websites……
The first listing is bold and links to the homepage, and also has a short description under it. The there are about 5 or so sub links to sections of the website below that.
Is there some special way that a site can go about getting listed like this? Or is it just some obscure Google thing that you can’t purposely do or make happen without luck? Thanks!
I don’t think those are the sponsored links. I don’t mean the ones at the very top in the yellow section — I think those are the sponsored ones, the even more expensive ones than the Adsense ones on the right.
But just below the sponsored link section, there is another what seems to be ‘organic’ links for big companies and such.
Hi, those are what’s called Sponsored Listings, or Premier Listings – and you can believe they paid BIG bucks for that spot! That’s prime search engine real estate and it costs! If you go to Google, look for their Contact Us link and find Sales and Advertising. There’s no direct link to the info that I can see.
Otherwise, concentrated SEO (search engine optimization) efforts will get you pretty good rankings but it also takes time and consistent promotion to get and stay at the top.

I got it what you mean to ask, that is not a sponsored or premium listing. this is organic result for search query.
U had notices that sites which are listed in that way must be reputed and have great reputation. Those sites are called an author site for that keyword. Google sees that site as an authority site for that keyword. some reason which i noticed for listing in authority site are
- If your site on top for that keyword since long time and your different pages are listed in top pages for exp
if u search for keyword: blabla
and more pages like
xyz.com
xyz.com/download.htm
of site xyx.com is in ranking on first page for long time than chance is there to get listed in that way.
- Your site must be old and reputed, no black hat techniques for ranking.
- your site have good traffic for that keyword.
i have tried to list some reason as per my knowledge and experience. there might be other criteria too.
