Siddharth Prakash Singh (GSOC): Setting up Drizzle Development Environment on my Laptop
Posted on 09 May 2010 by Abidoon
Today I set up the Drizzle Development environment once again on my laptop. I had to set it up again, because I recently cleaned my home folder. As last time, Jay Pipe’s blogs came in handy in setting up the environment. I referred to following 3 blogs – 1) http://www.joinfu.com/2008/08/getting-a-working-c-c-plusplus-development-environment-for-developing-drizzle/ 2) http://www.joinfu.com/2008/08/a-contributors-guide-to-launchpadnet-part-1-getting-started/ and 3) http://www.joinfu.com/2008/08/a-contributors-guide-to-launchpadnet-part-2-code-management/ .
I am also not an expert bzr and Launchpad user. I used the following tutorials to get started – 1) http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/bzr.dev/en/tutorials/tutorial.html and 2) http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/bzr.dev/en/tutorials/using_bazaar_with_launchpad.html .
This should be a perfect start for any new Drizzle Developer.
