@stroggwars Explain how you would download an anti-virus with a system that will not boot or connect to the internet.
@TormentedLucrious Freshclam is the program that updates the virus definitions in clamav, if you have it installed just type “sudo freshclam” without the quotation marks of course.

Looks good BUT Millions of people and I lost our DVD/CD to a virus! I do however have a USB working. It’s also affected my HP I can’t download make a DVD/CD on my HP! I also haVE A dell AND HAVE COPIED A COPY OF lINUX MIN 9 (SP?) ON MY DESKTOP any suggestions?

Don’t bother with linux!! Reinstall windows with the install disk, easy? that fixes things for free, Does it not?

I want to know how can I cure LINUX with windows. I messed my fstab somehow and its on BTRFS drive.. I remember exactly linux able to access FAT and NTFS partitions, but how can I access BTRFS partition from windows livecd?

@DifiAUrbanLovers Anything can get a virus. Even a Mac, and trust me they get viruses. Linux doesn’t get viruses because the people who understand Linux enough to make a virus actually understand how to make useful software.
