@ufikes obviously. maybe they want to download it onto their home computer.
I’ll just append some Information and try not to judge this howto (which is horrible):
1. If you need this howto, skip step 2 and just download Kubuntu.
2. DON’T buy a Linux. There’s is enough support in the internet (Google your Problem). Try wiki.ubuntu.com
3. As G33kZ0r said, the list command is LS not is.
AND NEVER USE WUBI.
If you do, your system will die in ~1 month.
Just insert your Linux CD, and reboot. The rest should explain itself.
Thumbs up, so my comment’s on the top of the vid.
I think Linux is the best for PC and if you don’t want to pay quite much money for a MAC. I use and like both
@shannonjones95 Isn’t that a computer with internet access?
Firefox FTW!
HAHHAHAH cp command
Ubuntu is awesome if your not a skript kiddie, but windows is more compatible with most software. If more people used Linux and made software for it therefore making it more compatible Microsoft would be screwed.
I think Windows is Greatest
Linux is good if it web server but not good in use
Mac Look Good Like High Tech but in real not
Mac is almost useless
@DIMATIF It might be complicated because you spell this like dis.
Dis is like scripting and is so complicated 0_0
@ufikes maybe they’re at the library viewing this video. dumbass.
“Switching from Windows to Linux”, yet the guy is using a Mac.
I assume that was on purpose as a joke attempt lol
@TahGamer Macs can dual-boot Windows with Boot Camp.
This video contains an error; the list command is “LS”, not “IS”.
GIMP FTW.
How the hell are people watching this if they don’t have a computer with internet access?
i like the guy’s shirt
it looks classy
@perfectlyMessy You can run linux in almost any architecture that exists. even mobile devices.
so wait, he’s running window on a mac while trying to use linux? talk bout triple product placement
@GHardstyle not me
linux blows
@TahGamer he’s using ubuntu.. not a mac.
so much fail in one video :’(
Why should you learn Linux “commands”? You won’t need them. Want to copy a file? Drag&Drop it, or simply use ctrl+c and ctrl+v, as you would do in any other OS. If this were 2005, learning the commands was, indeed, needed. Today? Not so much, the usability of the Linux improved in jumps.
If you *can* or *want* to pay, yeah, buy a Mac, or Windows. Otherwise, Linux distros like Ubuntu archived a nice status already. And it is free.
Fail, The guy is using a MAC wile the video tells us it’s windows.
