Hi! I have a question.
I’ve installed Luminate theme on Linux Mint 8 KDE but the window header theme (color) didn’t change. I mean window title color, close button, minimize button etc.
I’m allowed to choose only Ozone, Plastic…(just default settings) in the window settings.
I’m not very experienced with KDE desktop. Can you help me ?
My favorite thing about Mint is Mint WiFi. Mint’s the only distro I’ve tried that can detect and configure my wireless adapter with zero input. About the only thing I’d change about Mint is the Software Manager. It seems redundant alongside Synaptic and Synaptic is already a great package manager. I wish someone would explain the real purpose of Mint’s Software Manager, maybe I’m missing something.
Well its true,About a month ago I said linux sucked because a different distro had problems,I tried open suse, debian, ubuntu, kubuntu and a few others, then I was about to give up and tried mint on my flash drive it works great, this mint is the best distro of all I tried.
About a year ago I bought just a new desktop motherboard(I had the rest) and used vista with the hacks but I decided not to buy a license.
Then I just tried mint and love it,no more windoze for me.
Ive been running it on my machine for about one week and it is the best version I have tried, those developers outdid themselves on this distro its great, goodbye to bill gats crap windoze.
Its even better than ubuntu and kubuntu.I used those flash drives to boot to and I saved at least ten cds from the trash, from other versions that didnt work well.
Hey i have a wirless linksys thing. and i got ubuntu 9.04 and when i updated it to 9.10 it couldnt read my linksys thing so can linux mint 8 read my linksys thingy? cuz when i got ubuntu 9.04 it automaticlly read it and i didnt have to install any of my drivers or what not
