Arrays allow you to store a number of data values inside one variables, which makes it easier to read, quicker to assign and easier to access each element!
genius! can you do a video explaining the terminology on the php help pages, in other words they have explanations and examples but they always have something like function[(mm),x],y]z] now my degree is in math but their way of explaining makes no sense what if you do not need z as sometimes is the case, their explanations need explaining
In this tut Alex talks about arrays “which used to hold diff (numerical values/strings) as elements into one variable for easy access/assignment/read” and
1- How to declare them.
2- How to assign data (numerical/strings) into them using two diff methods.
3- How to display each element using the square brackets and echo command.
4- Using associative arrays as an easy way to refer to each element.
@smileysimm I think Alex used the word “null” not “naught” , “null” comes with diff meanings such as “empty , undefined or meaning less” & some ppl use it to refer to zero …
damn 13 years old, living in egypt, knows english and learning php… i going to kill myself. i was pee on my panths when i was 13 still. and i am still poor in english.

Gesh your really good… like the questions I ask in my head after you teach something (like when you first called an array I was wondering how you could assign a value to the array to better remember it) than the next thing you do is teach that… your really great!

Redo – Shift-Ctrl-Z
or Ctrl-Y in some other editors
Excellent, as are your others. I like the method of starting with 0, as it seems to be the easiest to manage.
Amazing

Yes
Naught means zero. I should really start saying zero now!
What’s the word you use for “Zero”?? It sounds like “naught” – is that right?
