THEN – Is the Microsoft and HTC patent deal a sign of Microsoft’s new covert Linux attack strategy? WE BREAK IT DOWN! All this week on, The Linux Action Show!

@0987654321284 do you actually have it probably not im using one right now and im enjoying myself i only miss 1 thing from windows a good editing software. and mac is well know for editing videos i hear from so many freinds they would rather work hard on a pc then a mac cause it sucked.
you spend an hour reviewing linux? i can review it in a sentance. it sucks and you should try windows or mac instead.
havent seen such a bullshit vid before….crappiest of all
@mariuszkono advertisement…..they will pay you a shit load of money just to hold a bottle
@Ov3rK1LL3000 Rockstar sucks for not making a Linux version of the game. It’s hard to even properly install and configure GTA IV in Windows XP. They’re shitty programmers.
2 fags
1 hour 5 mins? How the hell? ;D
Firefox is listed in the ubutu software centre in 10.04… xD
what’s up with bottle of coca cola dude ?
@testament0221 i know i wish linux would run all windows games! it sucks for not supporting GTA IV PC
I have this OS it’s pretty good
@rogermsw mint is 10.04 with a theme and manager layover added on. I always laugh when ppl say that mint is better because if Ubuntu “sucks” – Mint still has all the upstream problems that you don’t like about Ubuntu, so whatever you don’t like it has in there.
Mint has literally no changes, besides some alternative software and codecs installed. Themes and stuff like that are different, but the mint menu is ugly and now most ppl agree that Ubuntu looks better than mint, so why switch to Mint?
no reason to not use it?….netflix, that’s a dealbreaker. Also I technically cant play DVDs without breaking the law :/
@testament0221 There isnt any easily avaible.
The only problem I had with this release is that the default disc burner doesn’t like RW discs. It will erase them, but it won’t recognise them after.
So what actually stops Linux from playing games natively, without the use of WIne or whatever?
How did you guys put a 1 hour video on youtube? (The limit is 10 minutes)
@testament0221 There are various ways. There’s Wine, PlayOnLinux (wine with a better frontend for games and some extra scripts), Crossover Games (like playonlinux but it’s more professional and you have to pay for it) and Cedega (nothing to do with Wine ANYMORE, not opensource and you have to pay also) If your willing to pay go with Crossover Games, if not go with PlayOnLinux and Wine
@testament0221 windows games dont work on linux. you can use wine but the games will still have bugs in them.
How does gaming on Ubuntu work? What do I need to do to get WoW up and running, with no performance or quality loss? What about Ventrilo?
10.4 sucks…. get Mint
I love Linux, but you guys give it a bad name… I talk to people about Linux and aways get the “it’s for geeks” and god! you guys promote the geek handle totally. And why would you have all those Social account…. GET A LIVE open the door and walk out to the street and TALK TO SOMEONE.
10.04 had too many problems. even from fresh install. i will upgrade when 9.10 reaches the end of its desktop support
lol you’re voices go right through me. as in it vibrates my ribcage!
