    how did you get the bash shell up? are you connecting to another computer remotely to do this?

    Hey, good video,
    I have a question. When i try to run an application (gedit) it says:

    The application ‘gedit’ lost its connection to the display localhost:10.0;
    most likely the X server was shut down or you killed/destroyed
    the application.
    not sure what im doing wrong. any ideas?
