Amor Ti Vieta in lesson

Haven’t done a lesson video in a while…Give this one some time for me to get into it… So I have finally recovered from illness and started to improve, and thanks to GermanOperaSinger’s (and Richard Miller’s) falsetto training advice, my teacher was really enjoying my high notes in the warm up and working on The Holy City. So I asked her if I could work on any “real” tenor piece yet, and she came up with Amor Ti Vieta from Fedora (the pictures are a little joke, haha). I haven’t looked at it in months, and my voice is very different now than it was back then. So it’s not great, not yet, but I hope you can hear vast differences in my upper register. It was working even better at home the past 2 days, working on what she told me in the lesson, so I’m very excited! It’s not the hardest aria but the tessitura is fairly high. Plus I’ve always loved this one! =D

Fedora Core 5 running Xgl/Compiz to get some great effects. Vista can’t touch this! fedoraproject.org This is an EXTREMELY old version of Compiz running on XGL. These effects have been far surpassed since September 2006. A note to those who keep posting fanboy/hate/idiot posts. They will be deleted. It’s not worth it. And for those still confused about this video, it was a showcase of a few different effects available. Keep in mind that this video was made in 2006, before XGL was even part of xorg. System Specs: Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.0GHz 1GB DDR2-533 Ram GeForce 6600GT 256MB Kernel was compiled with SMP support. Also, some of you notice that the CPU usage was really high, this is most definitely attributed to the running of XGL/Compiz but also the recording process itself, which is a freakin resource hog.
